Just a warning that the upcoming week is gonna be kind of slow. Due to the weird structure I'm doing in the next chapter, the next two updates will be covers. I know it's a bit disappointing, but I hope you enjoy the covers anyways!

I hadn’t mentioned this much yet, but Supernormal Step books are available in PDF format at
Hiveread! I know a lot of people have been asking for them, and it’s a lot cheaper than the printed versions, with all the same extras. Hope this is good news for people who have been wanting to get them!

A day ago I asked for Supernormal Step fans to ask Fiona, Akela, Hall, and Eva questions! Let it run for most of the day and then had them answer, it was really fun and I hope people get a kick out of it. Not taking questions anymore, but here's links to the characters answering the fans!

That’s right, I’m going to remake Chapter 1 of Supernormal Step as a 5 year anniversary special! I’m super excited to be doing this. It’s going to be a completely re-written version of the first story, using what I’ve learned about writing, and the characters themselves, over the past 5 years.
Now, I can sense some of you getting worried, but don’t panic, this isn’t going to be the Star Wars special editions. This remake will be non-canon to the story of Supernormal Step and will not replace the original in any way. I’m doing it like that so I can change whatever I want without worrying too much, and have fun with it and make it different enough so it will feel fresh and new.
Now here’s the part some people might not be happy with. This won’t be free. When it’s all finished, I’m going to sell it digitally and in print as a stand-alone comic. Let me reassure you though, I’m going to make sure the writing is be my best, the colors to look great, and make each panel look the best quality I can give. It’s going to take a while to do, I might not be finished with this for many months, but I’m going to do my best to make it something WORTH buying.
And if it all works out, maybe I’ll do more things like this in the future, not necessarily remakes, but stand alone comics. Stuff like stories about Fiona before the comic started, or about other fan favorite characters like Em or May. In the meantime, I’ve put up a progress bar to the left so you can see how it’s coming!
And Come back Monday for one more remake sneak peek, before we head back to the story next Thursday!!
Progress bar percentage meanings:
0% Writing is finished, all that needs to be done now are the pages.
25% Half of the pages are penciled, and dialog is placed in
50% All pages are penciled, and dialog is placed in. I'll look over every page to make sure the pencils all look good at this point.
75% Half of the pages are colored.
100% All the pages are colored and a Cover has been made. When we hit this, expect it to be out soon!

As you may or may not know, I take a week off from Supernormal Step every year around this time to celebrate the anniversary of starting it and to give myself a much needed break. Usually I get guest comics to fill the time, but not this time! This time I've got a special treat for you. Still not regular updates, but I think you'll enjoy it, I'll talk more about it this Thursday!
Until then, hope you enjoy Monday's comic, the end of chapter 11!

Supernormal Step books are
back in stock! But wait there's more!
If you want to get all the books at the same time, you might want to wait a few more weeks, because I'm in the process of getting the all new Book 4 ready for print! This will be a bit different from the past 3 books though, as books 1-3 were 3 chapters long and book 4 is 2 chapters long. Why is this? Because as it stands, Book 4 will be longer than book 1! If I added another whole chapter to it, it would be way too big and too costly. So actually there's nothing to worry about, the page count is still in line with the first 3 books.
Book 4 will be chapters 10 and 11. So you'll finally have in print that time when I crushed your dreams. Or not! Maybe to you it was just that time that one thing happened. Am I being vague enough?

Sorry about this pals, but Supernormal Step is going to have to take a short break. I've stressed myself out so much that I became physically ill and need to both rest AND get work done so that it won't happen again. It won't be long though! We'll be back in about a week and a half, on the 21st of November!
Now I have to get back to trying to make the room stop spinning.

I started three pages a week because I thought I could handle it, and I really wanted to give readers more. As a reader myself, three pages a week is fantastic, the perfect amount. I always want to give readers what I would want, but in this case, while I can get the pages drawn, I don't have time to work on other aspects of the comic, like writing, or anything else I'd like to do for it. Like last week when I had to halt pages to do a convention, if I was still on the two page a week schedule I probably could have kept updates going as originally planned.
So we're going back to the old Monday & Thursday schedule. I'm very sorry for this because it's one thing I HATE as a reader, schedule changes that is. I hope you enjoyed these few months with three pages a week though! I hope that it will result in the next chapter being amazing, and I've got a few ideas on the side I could do that I think you'll appreciate as well.
I'll try to learn from mistakes like this, I hate jerking people around because I don't think things through enough.
See you Monday!
